Blog Ideas Now

Updated: Nov 8, 2023

You sit and wonder. What should I blog about today? Was my last one good enough? You think, research, and jot down topic ideas. Then you question if anything you wrote down is worthy of a blog. Will people WANT to read it? How long should it be? What’s the best day to post blogs? WHERE should I post them? The endless cycle of, what to blog about continues…

Well, that was exhausting! AND I don’t think we got a blog written let alone published. Why do we allow ourselves to get stuck in the process? Most of you KNOW what to do and when to do it but you doubt yourself. You may even compare yourself to others and put yourself down. This is self-sabotage and will only continue to hurt you and your blogging.

Blogs are about everything and anything. There is no right or wrong blog topic IF it is genuine and informative for your audience. Your blog has to bring some kind of value, purpose or emotion to your readers. Most likely they are following YOU for a reason because they enjoy you, your personality and perspective.

I have learned that while it is always great to learn new things, we also can only take in so much information. And if we do not implement what we have learned, what’s the point? I like to consistently get my advice from the same few people. Neil Patel is one of the best in the social media industry; I have grown to trust and believe in him. And also my dear friend and mentor Shelley with Shelley’s Social Media. Literally, learn something new from her on the daily. I have all of my clients follow these two. They are the two I know I can rely on for up to date information. Whether it is about blogging, what time to post on LinkedIn, or SEO’s (whatever those are right)?

Stop beating yourself up and wasting your precious valuable time and just start writing. If novel authors over-analyzed every page from the start they would never finish the book. Write your heart out. Walk away and come back to it. Edit if needed and publish if. You are capable of more than you know.
