I’ve been building businesses since the late '90s. My background’s in IT, but tech was just the entry point. What drives me is people — the real ones. The small business owners who pour their hearts into what they do, who lose sleep over payroll, who show up every damn day even when it’s hard. That’s who I built this for.

Over the years, I’ve studied business, design, strategy, SEO, social, paid ads — everything I could get my hands on. Not because it looks good on paper, but because I owe it to the people who trust me with their business to be ten steps ahead.

In 2019, I made it official. Shelley’s Social Media became an LLC, and SSM Marketing was born. We didn’t just expand — we leveled up. I’ve now worked with over 1,500 businesses across the U.S., helping them show up online with clarity, confidence, and results that actually move the needle.

But here’s the thing: this isn’t just marketing to me.

It’s personal.

I’ve walked beside clients through launches, breakdowns, wins, losses — the whole rollercoaster. I’ve stayed up late fixing messes someone else left behind. I’ve cried over success stories, cheered when leads turned into life-changing deals, and fought tooth and nail to make sure small business voices don’t get drowned out by corporate noise.

I care way too much to half-ass this.
